I don’t go to tabernacle, I go to church.
According to the mythology it’s not wine, it’s blood. Mmmmm.
The tabernacle is not a church.
It’s supposed to be Jesus’ blood, and it is blessed wine.
as far as i know..it doesn’t say that. most likely it says you cant get drunk. and it represents something. it snot just drinking a bottle of wine for the hell of it.
Cohenim, the Levitical Priesthood ,were not to be drunk or tipsy when ministering to the Lord(especially when they were lighting things with fire)
The Temple Rituals (which were derived from or directly borrowed from Egyptian ,Canaanite and other pagan religious rituals but changed in meaning often by the Lord) for Christians prefigure Christ’s ministry and priesthood and the worship of the Church and have been transformed, fulfilled and adapted by the New Covenant
Pasteurized grape juice did not exist until the 19th century and Jesus used fermented, fermenting or at least fermentable wine(least likely and the first most likely)
Those who ban alcoholic wine from sacrament services are not following Jesus example
I do not know of any Christian group that carries out the Levitical purity laws of sacrifice and Tabernacle ettiquette;do you? if so they need not since Jesus has fulfilled those rites and ancient Semetic blood customs.
God bless
we use grape juice but guess what there is grace now
The Levitical Laws were written specifically to and for the Jews.
Under the New Testament, Jesus uses a simple glass of wine as something for us to remember His shed blood. Colossians 2 tells us that Christians are not under the Law of the Jews.
Read the whole chapter and quit taking it out of context again. (They meant BEFORE you come into the tabernacle!) Don’t be drunk and disgusting while going there!!
the wine is only for the anointed of Jehovah woo!
to them who take and are not, and there is many that do!
the good thing is now all the anointed ones have come out of the churches . rev 18:4,5
Wine nor strong Drink.
Clearly this is intended as it relates to the Wine that has been fermented and thus has become alcoholic.
New Wine is not.
because in a sense we do die and rise again in Jesus—didn’t he drink wine at the wedding in Cana—How can grape juice that is new be any different than old grape juice—he was of course talking about wine.
Because Christ commanded it when He instituted the Sacrament of Holy Communion-”This do in remembrance of Me.” His command trumps the old Jewish ceremonial law.
we use grape juice
Leviticus is the law given to the Nation of Israel. It is part of the 613 laws gave them. Today we are in the body of Christ (the church). We are not under the law but under grace. God does not dwell in temple made by hands today. We are the temple of God if we have believe and trusted that the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins. Acts 7: 48 Howbeit the most High dwelleth not in temples made with hands; as saith the prophet, 1 Corinthians 3: 16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?
There are a few scriptures in the Bible where Jesus spoke of men/women drinking at celebrations, as in the one where Jesus changed water into wine.
Remember, when God refers to our vices, addictions and obcessions, HE’s speaking of when one goes beyond moderation, as though they drink until they make fools of themselves. Eating food would take the same precidence. One who eats to oblivion or obcessively is sinning much the same way. When one over-eats the body will respond with medical problems eventually as to warn the person of his gouging. This is one of God’s “warning signs” or “signals” to get our attention that we are abusing anything. Another form of abuse could be say, “you want to stay all night on the Internet but your parents have asked you to clean your room or wash the car, and you continue to play on the net, until finally you are in trouble and receive a punishment from your parents. God is our parent and HE is also looking out for our well being despite fleshly wants and desires.
