Okey I’ve been doing allot of digging and research on this topic. I came to the conclusion that its not. but I hear a bunch of People trying to tell me that Jesus turned the water into grape juice, they just called it wine back then, and I also heard a Mormon say that the wine being discussed in the bible was not fermented. here are my reason why I say they’re wrong.
Numbers 6:3
he shall separate himself from wine and similar drink; he shall drink neither vinegar made from wine nor vinegar made from similar drink; neither shall he drink any grape juice, nor eat fresh grapes or raisins.
This separates wine from grape juice.
This Numbers passage also deals specifically with the vow of the Nazirite. It doesn’t apply to the people at large.
Genesis 9:21
When he drank some of its wine, he became drunk and lay uncovered inside his tent
Genesis 19:33
That night they got their father to drink wine, and the older daughter went in and lay with him. He was not aware of it when she lay down or when she got up.
So not fermented grape juice can do that? Right… theres many more verses in the bible like that. and if you do some research “hard drink way back meant drink to much or to make it short “Get Drunk”!!
so to drink not a sin but to get drunk and mastered by it yes… what do you think? if you think I’m wrong give me good facts preferably verses from the bible. I like evidence and proof not religious belief. Reasonable answers please, I don’t wanna hear you don’t believe In sin. God Bless
